#47. Growing Way Too Fast!!

Happy 10 Months to Luke & Clare!!

So happy to be outside!

A handful of weeks ago, the twins had their 9-month checkup.

From alien babies at 3 months to chubby cheeks at 6 months to all spread out at 9 months

As in the past, both twins are showing great growth and development.

11&13 at month 3; 15&4 at month 6; and a whopping 17 lbs 12 oz now!!  Nice work, Clare (sprawled out here too)!

14&11 at month 3; 17&7 at month 6; and now 19 lbs 6 oz!!  Uh oh, Sister's slowly catching up!

The check up went well.  Even the vaccinations seemed to sting less.  It's hard to believe the next time we visit the doctor (we hope, anyway) the twins will be a year old!

Papa & Clare...guess who has more hair?!?

Father/Son 9-month checkup selfie

The numbers don't lie.  These babies are definitely growing.  I recently came across some photos to help display the magnitude of their development.

He once barely spanned the length of Daddy's shoe...now he's learning to tie it (when he's not chewing on it!)

She once looked like she WAS for dinner...now she's wondering when she can eat off the plate!

Growth (and development) has also been demonstrated in regular twin activities.  Bath time has 'evolved',

Cleanliness began in the sink....
...and now we just throw them both in the tub and let them 'swim'!

and so has sleeping too!

Slumber began in these duffel bag-like sleepers...

...and now we can barely keep them from leaving the crib!!

Even things like a trip to the Andersonville Farmer's Market are different these days.

The market used to be viewed from car seats in the stroller...
...and now try keeping these two in the stroller!

Both twins are pulling themselves up to stand against everything these days,

Clare found a new way to use the jumper and Luke started standing soon after watching his sister

Poked my head in on this scene in the nursery recently

even if they aren't quite sure what to do next.

Take your time learning to climb those stairs buddy!!

These days, you never know what kind of scene is just around the corner.  The (mis)adventures continue into an 11th month!
